Nicole Macaluso, PT, DPT, CMPT, OCS
Doctor of Physical Therapy | Certified Manual Physical Therapist | Orthopedic Clinical Specialist

Nicole Macaluso brings over 17 years of clinical experience and a deep love for helping people feel their best. Her thoughtful approach, hands-on expertise, and easygoing style make her a favorite among patients of all ages.

She earned both her Bachelor of Arts in Communications and her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Washington. After graduating, Nicole completed advanced certifications in manual therapy (CMPT) and orthopedic clinical specialization (OCS).

During this time, she also gave back to her profession by serving on the House of Delegates and the legislative committee through her state and national physical therapy associations.

A Decade of Leadership and a Return to Montana
In 2010, Nicole became the owner and clinic director of a Therapeutic Associates location. Over the next 10 years, she grew that clinic and eventually became a shareholder in the company.

In 2019, she and her husband made the decision to return to Montana to raise their two daughters. They love the slower pace of life, the community, and the great outdoors.

Her Approach to Physical Therapy
Nicole is passionate about helping each patient understand how to heal with confidence and clarity. Her style is warm and collaborative. She takes time to listen, and together, she and her patients create a clear, empowering plan for recovery.

She believes that every body is unique. Therefore, each treatment plan must be thoughtfully tailored.

Nicole also has specialized training in:

 – Pregnancy-related dysfunctions

 – Postpartum recovery

 – Stress and urge incontinence

 – Fascial release techniques (ASTYM and FDM)

In addition, she loves combining manual therapy with functional strength exercises to help restore natural movement and prevent future injury.

A Passion for Movement—At Every Level
Nicole is a lifelong learner and a true problem-solver. She enjoys working with a wide range of patients, from those recovering after childbirth to mountain athletes training for their next challenge.

“Whether your goal is to climb a mountain, lift your grandchild, or finally get up from a chair without pain, I’ll help your body get there.”

She believes physical therapy should be clear, supportive, and focused on real-life goals. That’s why her patients often leave with more confidence, less pain, and a renewed sense of what’s possible.

Outside the Clinic
When Nicole isn’t treating patients, she’s probably outside. She loves running, hiking, skiing, and climbing with her family. Being back in Montana allows her to reconnect with nature—and with the kind of care that comes from the heart.
