Get to Know Kate

Kate is a Montana native who attended the University of Montana for both her Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Performance and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. After earning her Physical Therapy License Kate spent two years in a post-doctorate program becoming a certified manual therapist (CMPT). During that time Kate worked in private practice in Portland Oregon and had spent years in leadership, mentorship, and practice management. Kate also worked for the Providence Health System in which she served as the Orthopedic Champion and Ministry Leader to assist her colleagues for best physical therapy practice because of her expertise and experience. Kate and her family have recently moved home to Montana to serve their community in the Flathead Valley.
Over the last 16 years of her physical therapy career, Kate has maintained a patient-first philosophy in practice and enjoys creating meaningful relationships with the people she works with. Kate’s treatment focus is centered around “hands-on” treatment with an emphasis on biomechanical correction. Kate’s primary goal is to improve the patient’s condition and allow for optimal function and quality of life while ensuring the very best patient experience. Kate specializes in spinal and musculoskeletal impairments in all patient populations including pediatrics, pregnancy, and postpartum, athletes, industrial workers, post-surgical patients, and many others.
Kate, her husband, and two daughters feel privileged to be back under the Big Sky and plan to make the most of every opportunity it provides. She is looking forward to sharing her passion for physical therapy and forging new relationships with patients to return them to optimal form and function.
