  • Manual Therapy

    Joint Mobilization and Manipulation:

Intended to reduce pain and promote improved joint mobility through the use of manual techniques that stimulate and stretch the surrounding connective tissue of the inflamed or restricted joint.

    Myofacial Release:

Deep palpation using a small surface area to promote fascial stretch and muscle relaxation. If a muscle is in spasm, it can lead to imbalances such as leg length discrepancies or pelvic asymmetry.

    Neuromobilization:

Also known as "Flossing" or "Gliding," this technique helps decrease inflammation in nerves, breaks up scar tissue adhesions that form around nerves, and can eliminate the sensation of "pins and needles" or numbness and tingling.

    Massage:

Ease your muscles and your mind through massage. We will be hosting a pop-up massage option every Sunday from August 27th through September 24th with Julia Priest. Call to book or click the online booking option in the banner at the top of the home page.

  • Neuromuscular Re-Education

Enhances the function of the body by balancing the muscle activation patterns about a joint. Often, with injury, core muscles are reflexively inhibited and require retraining in their correct recruitment patterns.

    Dry Needling:

A skilled intervention that uses a thin filiform needle to penetrate the skin and stimulate underlying myofascial trigger points, muscular, and connective tissues for the management of neuromusculoskeletal pain and movement impairments.

    Kinesio Taping:

A rehabilitative taping technique that is designed to facilitate the body’s natural healing process while providing support and stability to muscles and joints without restricting the body’s range of motion as well as providing extended soft tissue manipulation to prolong the benefits of manual therapy.

  • Strength Training & Injury Prevention

Strength training improves the durability and health of body tissues including muscles, tendons, and bones. Regular loading of the body structure with additional resistance, whether through free weights, bodyweight, or elastic bands helps with all daily activities, including the prevention of all kinds of injuries in the future.
